It is equipped with two motorized mechanical hoists for lifting the pre-cast segments and for adjusting the cross-fall.
Two segment lifters work in tandem with its mirror equivalent, with one lifter erecting in one direction from the Pier Head and the second lifter erecting in parallel in the opposite direction.
Segment lifters are designed to install segment length of approximately 2.5m to 4m that weigh between 60 and 120 ton, in varied design configurations like ramps, in tight locations, or in areas that are generally difficult to access across river beds.
